Support
Trueward is made by a small team, and we read every message ourselves. If something's not working, or you're just not sure how a part of the app is meant to behave, this page should get you unstuck.
The fastest way to reach us is support@trueward.app. A real person reads it, usually replying within two business days.
01Contacting us
Email support@trueward.app with what's happening and the device you're on — iPhone or iPad, and your iOS version. A screenshot helps a lot when something looks wrong. There's no account or ticket number to dig up; just write to us and we'll take it from there.
02iCloud sync isn't showing on another device
Trueward syncs through your own private iCloud, so each device needs to be signed into the same Apple Account with iCloud Drive turned on, and sync enabled in Trueward's settings on that device.
Sync runs quietly in the background and can take a minute or two over a slow connection. If a device still looks behind, open Trueward and leave it in the foreground for a moment, then double-check you're not signed into a different Apple Account on one of them.
03Restoring a purchase or Trueward Pro
Purchases are tied to your Apple Account, not to a Trueward login. On a new device, open Trueward, go to the paywall or Settings, and choose Restore Purchases — your Pro access comes back without paying again.
To review, change, or cancel the subscription itself, go to Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions on your device, since billing is handled entirely by Apple.
04Managing the free trial and billing
Trueward Pro includes a 7-day free trial on the annual plan. Apple charges your Apple Account when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. You can start, change, or cancel a subscription anytime under Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions.
We can't see or change your billing on our end, but we're glad to help you find the right setting.
05Reminders aren't arriving
Trueward's reminders are scheduled locally on your device. If they're not firing, check that Settings › Notifications › Trueward is allowed, that a Focus or Do Not Disturb isn't silencing them, and that the reminder is still switched on inside the app.
Reminders also won't appear for habits you've already completed for the day — that's deliberate, so you're never nagged about something you've done.
06Exporting or deleting your data
Your journal lives on your device, so you're always in control of it. You can edit or delete any goal, habit, target, or note at any time inside the app. Deleting Trueward removes its local data from that device; if you use iCloud sync, you can also remove that copy from Settings › [your name] › iCloud › Manage Storage.
If you'd like a way to export your history, tell us — hearing it helps us prioritize.
07Requesting a feature or reporting a bug
We'd genuinely like to hear it. Send ideas and bug reports to support@trueward.app; for a bug, the steps that led to it and your iOS version make it much faster to fix. Trueward is shaped by what people actually ask for, so a short note really does count.
08What to expect from us
We aim to reply within two business days, and to be honest when something will take longer or isn't on the roadmap yet. We'll never ask for your password — there are no accounts — and we'll never ask for payment details, since Apple handles all of that.
09Privacy & terms
